Unstoppable: Scattered by God
In Acts 6 and 7, Johannes shows how the gospel of Jesus is unstoppable despite threats from within and outside the church. Internal division over neglected widows was met with wise, Spirit-led leadership that restored unity and allowed the church to grow. External persecution against Stephen led not to silence, but to the spread of the gospel as believers were scattered. This sermon reminds us that conflict, suffering, and opposition cannot stop God’s mission. Christ’s church is called to unity, courage, and faithful witness today.
