Unstoppable: Response to Opposition
Riley’s sermon highlights that the gospel is unstoppable, even in the face of opposition. In Acts 3–4, a miraculous healing leads to bold proclamation about Jesus, which brings resistance from authorities. Instead of reacting with fear, the early church responds with unity and prayer. They remember God’s sovereignty, recognize that opposition is part of His plan, and ask for boldness rather than safety. God answers by filling them with the Holy Spirit, empowering them to continue speaking courageously. The sermon challenges believers to depend on God, value His mission above comfort, and live as bold witnesses.
